Facebook "friends"

If you have a Facebook account, you've probably seen something along the lines of, "Oh you unfriended me? You sure showed me!" Well I've been thinking about that. I have almost 600 friends on facebook, and if one person unfriended me would I notice? Heck no I would not. Especially if it's someone I don't particularly enjoy the company of. It makes you look bad if you say something rude about being unfriended. Dude, you have more than 500 left. Don't panic! If someone doesn't like you, they can unfriend you. It's okay.

Sheesh.

Today I saw an eighth grader flip off a teacher, and my first reaction was :O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After that wore off I thought, what the heck is happening to the aspect of respect? Teachers, parents, and basically EVERYONE, especially people older than you, deserve respect! When I see children flipping the bird, it makes me think that parents are not properly raising their kids! Learn some manners you scoundrels.

Rap Guys' Girlfriends

Some things are only "appropriate" for rich, attractive, famous rappers to say in songs! For example, if a guy walked up to me saying, "Hey, you're a sexy b****. Not trying to be disrespectful or anything ;)". I would tell him that he was verbally and sexually harassing me, and if he didn't back it on up I'd call 911 on his goon self!

Rumors?

Alright, so as everyone knows many rumors are spread during one's high school career, but recently I've noticed a trend. A lot of rumors are spread because students talk about their own personal lives DURING school! If you don't want the school knowing about your "secrets", don't talk about it openly during class. You never know who's listening (including the teachers and staff), and you never know how people are interpreting it. People aren't going to "mind their own business" especially when someone is spilling juicy stuff in the middle of class! I know my ears would perk up if I heard something crazy during school! Point is, if you want to keep something a secret, don't talk about it!!

Word to the freakin' wise

If you just happen to be asked on a date by someone who is a stranger, do yourself a favor and Google the heck out of them. You may just find out that the person you're going out with is a total creep, so Google, Facebook, or tweet creep them! Use technology for your benefit! You'll be happy you did because you may save yourself from going out with someone who is totally disrespectful. If you go to school with the person who asked you out, pay attention to how he/she is towards teachers. Generally, if someone is disrespectful to a teacher they won't have much respect for you either. 


In other news, my 13 year old brother tried to convince me that Shaggy from Scooby-Doo is a pot head because he always has the "munchies". I'm always hungry! Do I smoke the wacky? No sir I do not. Kids these days.
